Social Media Manager

Links Global has a great opportunity for a junior to mid-level social media manager with English/Spanish skills and knowledge of international affairs.

Key Role and Responsibilities:

  • Develop social media plans for federal public health programs
  • Research content and develop daily social media content
  • Post content to a variety of social media
  • Write, edit, clear, and post social media content
  • Monitor and analyze social media content
  • Develop infographics and audiovisual media for social media
  • Translate information between English and Spanish
  • Report progress to client on periodic basis verbally and in writing

Requirements

  • Proven work experience as a social media manager, with at least 2 years of experience planning and developing content
  • Knowledgeable of U.S. politics and news
  • Bachelors degree in Journalism, Social Media, international relations, or relevant field
  • Ability to create daily social media content
  • Skilled in using Twitter, Facebook, YouTube and other social media
  • Knowledge of and ability to use Photoshop and audiovisual editing software to edit short video pieces for social media
  • Knowledge and skills in using media monitoring and analytical tools
  • Proficient writer and editor
  • Organized
  • Experience in public health is a plus
  • Additional language skills are a plus
