Links Global has a great opportunity for a full-time, temporary (estimated 3-year term) mid-level recruiter to support a US Government funded program in Lakewood, CO. Recruitment will focus on recruiting a variety of positions in a 14-state region spanning the areas of civil engineering, construction management and inspection, environmental compliance, contracting, programming, planning, and finance. Short-term travel will be required. Also, telework may be approved for 1 or 2 days per week. Otherwise, the recruiter will report to federal government offices. 

The position requires a federal suitability investigation (background check and approval).

Key Role and Responsibilities:

  • Review the client's recruiting strategy. 
  • Propose recommendations to implement the recruiting strategy.
  • Implement the recruiting strategy, it is anticipated that this could include but is not limited to the following:
    • Identify potential agencies, organizations, and universities to recruit at;
    • Coordinate with entities listed above to post job announcements and provide notifications of upcoming events and vacancies;
    • Develop marketing materials for in-person career fairs, this may include but is not limited to banners, presentation boards, etc.
    • Attend in-person and virtual college, professional society, and industry career events with or without client Subject Matter Experts to educate potential candidates on client's mission and current / upcoming job vacancies;
    • Prepare quarterly e-newsletter to potential candidates using email and/or customer relations management software/services;
    • Plan, coordinate, and run client hosted in-person and virtual career events;
    • Create compelling social media recruitment-focused content for review and submission by the Agency public affairs team;
    • Other recruiting tasks as identified in the recruiting strategy

Requirements

The Recruiter shall have significant experience in the recruiting industry with a demonstrated knowledge of
office policies, processes and procedures, and the ability to rapidly grasp newly assigned processes and
procedures. This individual works well under pressure. The individual shall perform complex recruitment-related duties in support of a specific Government team, event, or individual. Therefore, in addition to the
significant experience, a strong problem-solving skills background is essential to bring issues/problems to
resolution, as quickly as possible.

This individual shall possess excellent written and oral communication skills, apply sound business
judgment, and be resourceful and creative. To ensure deadlines and last minute assignments are handled
timely, multi-tasking must be a priority to ensure that the assigned work is to be performed in a highly
efficient, organized, and accurate manner. The personnel shall have extensive knowledge and experience
with office correspondence protocol, including both utilizing correspondence software tools and hard copy
correspondence packages.


The personnel shall be able to work independently to perform these duties with limited effort, and minimal
disruption to the office. It is essential that the personnel maintain effective relations with client staff, and
the public (colleges, professional societies, and industry partners) via on-site or remote. Also, it is
imperative that the personnel exercises confidentiality, discretion, and the ability to be a team player.
Additionally, the individual is flexible in adapting to deadlines and changing priorities.

Minimum qualifications

  • High school graduate or GED
  • Five years of experience recruiting without day-to-day direction including:
    • Experience recruiting for interns, recent college graduates, and mid-career positions;
    • Recruiting at in-person career events;
    • Familiarity with job boards and hiring online platforms;
    • Familiarity with Federal government Human Resource laws and requirements;
    • Highly proficient in the use of current:
      • Adobe Acrobat, Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Premiere Pro or other graphic software; Microsoft Office products such as Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Publisher, Teams, Visio,Word, etc;
    • Customer Relations Management platforms such as Yello, Salesforce, etc;
    • Highly proficient in English grammar, spelling punctuation, and preparation; and
    • Significant experience communicating with individuals at all levels, both orally and in writing.

The wage is an hourly rate based on $72,000 plus fringe benefits (paid leave, sick leave, federal holidays, medical and insurance benefits).
