Summary Description:
Links Global seeks a highly skilled and motivated Project Manager with a minimum of 10 years of project management experience including 5 years in support of Government projects involving duties such as strategic planning, capacity-building, community engagement and communications, partnership building, and hands-on technical assistance (i.e., grant writing, grant management). The project manager will oversee a team of staff that may include community planners, community engagement specialists, training specialists, data specialists, IT specialists, technical writers, and graphic designers. The focus of the project is supporting a national program for building resilient infrastructure and communities. The work location will be a combination of government offices, employee telework location, and Links Global's offices in Maryland. Estimated non-local travel is 10% of the time.
Minimum qualifications are:
Education: B.A. or B.S. degree in business related field. Master's Degree preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 10 years of project management experience and at least 5 years in support of Government projects.
Specialized Experience: Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification, and/or 10+ years of project and budget management experience. Experience in working with emergency management, crisis management, or resilience programs is a big plus.
Background investigation: Must pass a federal government background check.
Duties: Supports the government's program manager in oversight of multi-level programs. Handles cross-team subcontractor support and program financials. Meets with Government program manager to discuss performance, propose initiative, and establish priorities as needed.
