Links Global is recruiting for a Project Manager for a communication and education project that supports building resilient infrastructure and communities around the U.S., with a focus on underserved communities and tribal nations.
Duties: Support the management of a multi-level program. Handle cross-team subcontractor support and program financials. Meet with a program manager to discuss performance, propose initiatives, and establish priorities as needed.
The responsibilities of the Project Manager are to:
• Ensure project conformance for all work performed, to include contract performance, schedules, and costs.
• Organize, direct, and manage operational support required to execute the work.
• Assemble and manage teams of support personnel at multiple locations.
• Provide contract status reporting and documentation to a program manager.
• Organize, direct, and manage contract operation support functions, involving multiple, complex, and inter-related project tasks.
• Manage teams of contract support personnel at multiple locations.
• Meet with customer and Contractor personnel to formulate and review project plans and deliverable items.
• Ensure conformance with program project schedules and costs.
• Manage the project cost and performance.
• Establish and maintain technical and financial reports to show progress of projects to management and customers, organize and delegate responsibilities to subordinates and oversee the successful completion of all assigned tasks.
• Proactively identify project and budget variance and cost-associated risks and report to the program manager.
Minimum qualification for a Project Manager:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 10 years of project management experience and at least 5 years in support of Government projects.
Specialized Experience: Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification, and/or 10+ years of project and budget management experience.
Background Check: A satisfactory federal suitability investigation is required.
